North Stand Construction Discussion

With 1894 posting about members relocating to the new North Stand tier 2.

When meeting the club, would it not be a suggestion to ask them to change their ideas about Tier 1 in the North Stand and deliver what they advised in the planning document, which was a safe standing in Tier 1 right behind the goal?

As you may have seen in the recent victory against Real Madrid, the most vocal fans in Madrid are behind the goal

The club need to dedicate multiple blocks, not just the two in the SS, for atmosphere. Whether it’s the SS or the NS doesn’t matter to me but we need 5000 or so like minded fans together like the old kippax days

The South Stand fits that bill. They don't sing as much as they used to.

Yeah because people been priced out and replaced with day trippers, we need more of away day lot in 109-111 and 114-119
Not taking the piss, do the away day lot actually stay until the end at home games? I saw a lot of “new City fan” types yesterday in CBL1 and much as we want to besmirch them as tourists, they actually stayed until the end. Some of the more vociferous regulars appear to fuck off at 80 minutes.

In the South stand 1, don’t think thats true, in fact as a matchday ticket buyer I know it’s not, tickets in there rarely available, in fact isn’t true for most of the ground, most SC holders probably haven’t moved for years.I have asked before though where do most of the regular away fans sit for home games is it together ?
Ideally they’d organise themselves and try and relocate to be together because they are the loudest fans we have. To be fair though maybe they are already in the SS1.

No they don't all sit together same as every member if 1894 is not in SS lower

Maybe they don’t want to which is fair enough, but would be good if those that wanted to could organise and get together in a vocal area, whether South stand or North.Anyway this thread isn’t about that so best leave it.

I’m not good at public speaking, but via the forum, I’d like to thank our 2 fantastic drone flyers, Colin and Stephen, for all the hard work, effort, time and dedication they have both put into filming the construction of the North stand this year. Happy Christmas and best wishes to the both of you from all of us on Blue Moon.

Strange that the bulk of the new seats are still under the covers. Isn't most of the work directly over them pretty much completed at this stage?
The only thing strange is your comment, there you go I bit but i'm on the bus home.
