North Stand relocation while the stand is expanded

Don’t get this obsession everyone seems to have with expanding this rail seating bollocks anyway.

If it was a proper standing area, like the old days, I’d be all up for it.

But just sticking a bar for you to lean on, in front of a cramped seat, all seems a bit pointless to me.

Might aswell just leave things as they were and make it known which blocks you won’t be told to sit down in.

Some bastards insist on standing and blocking the view for those behind who cannot stand for medical reasons. Maybe you are are one of those arseholes?

As much as I agree with your point but anyone with medical issues would be wise to relocate to another area.

If anyone’s interested, this is what those of us relocating got:

——-

To make the transition as easy as possible, we are giving you a priority window between Thursday 7th March and Friday 15th March, to select your new seat from those that are currently available.

The price of your Season Ticket will stay the same as the 2023/24 season, or it may be reduced depending on where you relocate to. This means you can move to any general admission seat within the stadium next season at no additional cost.

Before the 2025/26 season, you will be offered another priority window should you wish to relocate. Please be aware, from the 2026/27 season you will be required to pay the prevailing rate of the seat you choose.
You will have the opportunity to relocate within or back to the North Stand of the Etihad Stadium following the completion of the expansion.

Bit of a strange reply to a post saying that the expansion of standard areas is bollocks. But as you were.

Might be reading this wrong but would this suggest a season ticket price freeze across the board? Or just for those relocating from the family stand due to the north stand development?

I'd suggest you are interpreting it wrongly. People are being moved through no fault of their own so it's the least the club can do so that they aren't out of pocket. It has no bearing on what they may or not do with pricing generally.

Hint: they will be increasing them

If you’re older and need to sit down you won’t be able to see anything for the people standing up.

Yeah I took it as compensation for being moved around

We’ve just moved to pretty much exactly the same seats on the lower tier at the back

My post makes sense to me but you’re the second person who’s interpreted it as meaning the exact opposite as intended. So it’s probably worded poorly.
