North Wales - help - pubs to watch City

The Mariner in pwllheli has sky sports.i think the owner was actually a city fan as well, but I'm going back a few years. Only a smallish pub and its down some stairs, nautical themed.

If you head the other way then in criccieth there is the bryn hir arms with sport.

From the haven site you can get the train there and back if they are running. You have to go left out of the main site then left again to get to the station penychain. Also busses run usually fairly regularly from the main haven entrance.

The Bryn Hir in Criccieth is a very decent pub. Pwllheli is less attractive. Trains are every 2 hours...not 1. Very limited service.

It’s a bit of a drive from where you are, but I normally watch the match in The Courtyard at the back of The Vaynol in Abersoch. Not sure if it’s open though, and it’s a touch on the small side.

Caravan and laptop for me I think!

Buy a BT monthly pass and watch on IPad
Think they are about £20/30 quid

Yeah , thats what i did for all the european games ... cost £25 for a months viewing on my tablet , but the BT stream was absolutely top notch, and didn't buffer whatsoever.

If you are on EE text sport to 150 and you get BT sports on Your EE phone for £5.99 for 30 days. £12.50 if you wanna cast it to a big screen.

Jesus Christ don't give me nightmares. Stayed in Criccieth when working on the railway. Used to drink in a boozer called the Prince of Wales landlord was an absolute loon, Used to drink in the Castle at the station as well small little boozer. I think the word inbred is quite apt for that town.
