A good night at Chelsea , a few skirmishes in the cafe at the back of the Shed with Chelsea fans .Yes I was at the '76 match too, I think for the 82/83 one I went on the service train so missed the trouble with the special. Also remember the 6-1 win against Norwich at Stamford Bridge in the 2nd replay League Cup tie. City had the Shed terrace, pissed it down all night, crowd was about 6,000 and we still had about twice as many as Norwich and they didn't have as far to travel.
I have you correct!!Was that not 83 /84 first game after the Luton game 82/83 tolmie goal and a 2 0 win then a trip to Cardiff on the bank holiday Monday 1 0 defeat ? All from memory I stand to be corrected
Remember this so well, we could see them from the terrace, they were throwing empty milk bottles at us, they soon got off as we left the ground.Remember Wimbledon first game of the season in the eighties, Chelsea had played Arsenal in the morning and turned up at plough lane but got battered. Mate who followed Chelsea said they had totally underestimated City's numbers and shit out
Remember singing ‘ oh John Bond up yours’ ( to XraySpex oh bondage up yours ) as we were escorted across the pitch at Norwich and pogoing in the centre circle. I would guess 77/78 before he joined us.John Bond we love you John Bond we do oh well that's enough off 1980 songs
one of my mates had been chucked out and was sat on a wall amongst Chelsea fans. We could see him and he us, but he never waved back HahaRemember Wimbledon first game of the season in the eighties, Chelsea had played Arsenal in the morning and turned up at plough lane but got battered.
