A few players will be sweating with all this competition in the team. Great performance after a loss. We should be making Laporte feel like the prettiest girl at the dance-he's just way better than Ake and it's not particularly close.

Great to see us look more like ourselves again. The passing and movement was a lot better then a week ago against Spurs. Can't help but think Bernardo, Jesus & Walker make a huge difference when they're in the 11 with their work rate.

Some good signs from Grealish today, he's a special player. Happy to see Cole Palmer get a Premier League debut, he showed some nice touches and movement.

Gabby MOTM for me, have always thought he looks like a winger like he normally plays for Brazil. Think he can be great there for us.

Like near the end of last season, swapping Ferran and Gabby is a good idea long term, both are better suited to their new roles.

Sterling can play as a striker as well, and plays is slightly different than Ferran as option.

Everyone else also great. Dias improving his passing, it was the only stat I thought he needed to improve, and he has, world's best in my eyes.

Great performance but that game is over long before the 64th minute with Kane. If he just runs about in the six-yard box he’ll break goal-scoring records.

In a way. Always think games are over, at least in Guardiola’s mind, when we have a three-goal cushion, which is when he considers trotting out the youngsters.
