I agree.
Now he plays for us, i'm obviously paying attention to him and his touch and balance on the ball is fantastic. Once he settles in properly he will be a briiliant player for us.
 
Very good but when aren't we very good against a lower side who play relatively open football? We usually have to have a complete nightmare to not smash these teams. And that's no disrespect to Norwich, its just the reality of the situation.

I'm ecstatic with the result and a very nice performance pretty much all round, was a very comfortable esing in game for Grealish and many others who haven't had a pre-season, but it's hard to take much from that in all honesty.

Did what we had to do, let's see how we step up once more against Arsenal.
 
We will be severely weakened if we allow the supposed unhappy 3 to leave and only bring in Kane. They didn't look unhappy today, rather the opposite, get in !!!!!
 
Gabby great game, Jackoi tidy and will find his space, thought Ferran had a super game as well.

Defensive stuff, hate Dias on his wrong side he did his duties well but distribution was not it’s usual quality, Laporte was very decent, Cancelo was in my opinion very average and that’s being a tad kind.

Still great to see proper football back.
 
After last week we couldn’t have picked better opposition. Still looked rusty at times but great to see Jesus perform as he did. Back four very good and midfield kept things ticking over. Loved the movement of Torres and Grealish looks like he is settling in. As for the ref what an utter shambles.

Difficult to judge our team when the opposition were so poor but we did what we had to do and can’t ask for more.
Jesus has found a role more suited to him and was deservedly Motm.
 
Walker's value evident today, pace going forward and in defending and some great cross field passes to Jack - who will make much more impact if he has someone left footed supporting him (Foden ?) rather than Cancelo (who did improve in the second half). Bernardo had a great game and good to see Jesus get MOTM. Good to get a comfortable win under our belt and great to be back at the Etihad for the first time since WHU in Feb 2020.

Norwich will go straight back down with a whimper and finish bottom. They’re actually worse than the last time they were promoted
