The coach needs to take a long look at previous matches involving the same suspects for: commitment, ability to tackle, communicate, a first-touch, dribbling, playing a simple pass to a fellow player, positioning at both set-pieces and breakaways, shooting at the actual target and not trying to take on two, three or four players; then failing to get past the first and then smiling about it.
