Jesus has always had incredible skills, but too often it doesn't work out for him, when he's playing up front - twists & turns past a couple of players then runs into trouble.
But out on the wings, he has a bit more space & he was incredible today.

Walker was superb too - some of his passes were KDB- esq.

Laporte was dominant at the back.

Grealish is obviously going to be an exciting addition.

Bernardo back to his best - hope he stays !

Think Jesus has found his position... What a game he had, bernardo and Laporte both excellent today also and be a shame to lose any of those 3 if they play like they did today every week. Biggest surprise of the day was not seeing Delia ont pitch at half time!

Absolutely. Two votes for Cole Palmer, though? Don't get me wrong EB; he didn't do anything particularly wrong. But I'm fairly sure he wasn't our best player.

I stand to be corrected, mind!
Oh I didn’t notice that. Sorry. No he had a good debut but not MOTM quality.

If John Boy had been playing wweelll I would have been torn between him and Kyle.

To be honest I think Richard Dunne’s appearance at half time was my MOTM! ;-)

Jesus easily. Laporte and Bernardo also very good. It’s funny our best performers want to leave the club.
Funny or concerning? I would not like to see any of these guys leave in this window and they may not if the Kane deal falls through. Yesterday was a lively performance from start to finish and has done much to erase the memory of the recent goalless defeats. Hope we can build on this and get another title bid up and running.

I just read the match report on the BBC website and I see that aaccording to the player ratings the best player on the pitch yesterday was Billy Gilmour with 7.01. Apparently Jack Grealish was our best player with Jesus quite a way back.

I was at the game yesterday but now I’ve seen that I think I must have been somewhere else.

Funny as in strange is really. I certainly don’t want to see any of them leave without replacements though we may already have Bernie’s, not like-for-like replacement, in Grealish. If Bernie really wants out for non-football reasons I’d be happy for him go with our blessings, same with Jesus but I’m sure he has more to offer playing on the wings. Laporte’s a bit different; if it’s down to competition for places/attitude, I’d be happy for him to go and could only see his career going one way afterwards. More than anything, it’s disappointing that “3 or 4” of our players want to leave for any reason.
