I think Milner will be fit by Norwich, and Negredo will be better. I think Clichy will come in for this game. I think he's getting better

Possible Micah may feature soon. We need to use all our squad players otherwise their game deteriorates. I don't think Pellegrini has forgiven Rodwell's performance against Watford, but if you don't play it's not easy to play at your best when you get a chance. We need to play players like Richards so that their game does not slip otherwise they become a useless member of the squad. I think Richards is more likely to play against Sunderland at home

4 points won't be enough for us in the scheme of things but I have no doubt Norwich and Sunderland won't be pushovers as we are well undermanned.

As Tolmie has said we need to batten down the hatches if we are to keep in touch by the time our injured players return.

Are we capable of some old grind and graft to get maximum points?

We may have to find out as with our style we will be exposed time and again especially without Ferny.

I wouldn't mind seeing this, Kolarovs crossing is insanely good and we should use this to our advantage whilst missing crucial players through injury

I wouldn't sacrifice any game. One game at a time, but I don't see City being strong enough to beat Barca with the Chelsea game in our legs. However Barca will also have to make a choice about their League game. They have the advantage in that they can play a weakened team in their League and win, whereas we wont be able to do that against Chelsea. Just bad luck that we got a draw against Chelsea and that our Chmapions League game follows immediately rather than the following week as it does for CFC.

From the clubs point of view - especially in the eyes of the owner and the board in my opinion - I think they will see the Barcelona game as one of the biggest games of the season.

We have to put up the best show we possible can in that game for the benefit of the clubs image, getting battered after two already embarrassing years in the CL would not look good on the club, that is why I can see the Chelsea game being sacrificed.

I don't think it will be entirely kids etc.. but players like Hart, Zabaleta, Vinny, Yaya, Silva, Negredo and maybe Navas wont play.

If I was Pellegrini I would play for a draw in the home leg and try and go for it away when we hopefully should have everyone fit again, if we can nick it a home then great.

Dont get this talk about sacrificing anything. Chelsea has exactly the same fixture clog with a CL game shortly after the FA Cup. In fact arguably worse as they have to travel to Turkey whereas at least we are at home both games. You can argue that Galatasaray will be an easier game than Barcelona - of course it is, but it's unlikely to be an easy game and Mourinho will play a full strength side. Who knows, maybe Mancini can do what Pellers couldn't, lol

Chelsea don't play the same week as us, I believe they play gala the 26th...Think you got your dates mixed up there.

Obviously this may not mean it will always fail, but I remember this against Swansea in October 2012 and it was dreadful.

Got the missus' parents visiting this weekend - she's from Norwich and her dad's a season ticket holder. Id never hear the end of it if we lost. I only stopped getting stick about last season after the 7-0. Gotta give them another pasting.

Don't worry feely, i've got a feeling another 7-0 romp is on the cards, you know what i mean Bert.

7-0 thats what I hate about pre match threads. Situation and time of year smacks of a narrow win or 1-1 draw

Missing Aguero, Fernandinho and Nasri is v killing. When playing topteams that are at full strenght.
During our fantastic unbeaten streak, and especially in January, we roteted a lot and were definitely not at full strenght against the not-so-topteams. The not-so-topteams in this time of year have their own trouble keeping everyone fit due to the fact they haven't been able to rotate their relatively small squad (compared to ours).
Not saying Norwich away will be easy, but the last few years we've always got back strong after a defeat. Can't think of many reasons why it would be any different now. Grinding out results is part of playing your part in winning the PL. And we have the players to do that against the likes of Norwich.
