Not from Manchester, Not from the Uk, and I am a City Fan

LOL @ "I started supporting since the take over and have been with the club through all the hard times." Hahaha

I used to get bullied by United fans who out numbered us about 20 to 1 on the school bus. Those are hard times I do welcome all fans but I just found that statement funny. I had a chipped tooth till I was 17 as when I was 13 I was pushed into a wall by some boys for wearing my scarf.

Welcome all if you support the club but everyone has had different experiences.

It's not where you're from, it's where you're at.

Basically this I have no problem with new fans especially if they are here for life but you are a twat telling city fans what they can and cannot think

And York city have a 120,000 capacity stadium judging by amount of blues that we're there!
Yes, and I had a ticket and didn't go because the train fare was £75 return from Suffolk to York (was working down there at the time). Glad I didn't in the end! I was at 30 or so other games that season, the worst being Adams Park seeing us lose 0-1, was a state of utter despair. Should have just fallen back on my other 5 teams at the tops of their leagues;) To be honest during 98 - 99, I didn't care one bit about what happened in the Prem and would be the same now if we ever went down. Was a bloody expert on the third division (in old money) though.

Started supporting City in 2004, I live in Nova Scotia and I'll bleed sky blue till the day I die.

Why are we insulting and hurting people with " I am a bigger fan than you" Shit
The whole dynamic of our ownership is to increase the fan base internationally, buy more City branded product all on the back of putting us as the biggest club in the world both financially and through success on the field.
I am gett ing fed up to the back teeth reading some poor soul living in the middle of no where having to justify on this forum why he supports Gods own club.
Dont bother
If you are a blue for what ever reason I welcome you with open arms to the biggest cult club in the world.
Ignore the "I am the biggest ape in the room buffoons" that haunt this site most of which I am sure are just on an ego trip.
I am a blue for over 46 years
Met a guy tonight watching 56 years
Is he a bigger Blue than me ?
The fools who insult you cannot define a City fan
They are unable to come to terms with or understand the long strategy of the owners .
So
Wear our shirt with pride where ever you live, the fans with a love of the football club welcome you without reservation.

I am also a newby....
Tired of pro sports in the states. Needed something new.
Found EPL a few years back. Watched Tevez at United and loved his spirit.(when he played)
By chance met a United fan, arrogant, acted as if HE won something.

Tevez went Blue and I did too.

Now I am sick with it.

Haven't missed a game and
Seems strange though, I tried to explain the QPR game and circumstance, here in my part of the states,
and not a soul knew or cared.

Making plans for next season .... see you at the Etihad!
I'll bring the silver polish!!!!!!!

Growing up in Sydney, all I kept hearing was United this, United that. I hate those rags and most people I know that follow them are just glory hunters. I floated around a few teams, but with City, I actually felt emotion. Plus I loved Fowler.

City were always given the underdog status and I love how we always come back and prove the doubters wrong.

We MUST never be like that lot. We must retain our identitiy the reason why we all love being part of CITY. I welcome all new fans with open arms but they must become part of who we are ...the humour, never arrogant, loyal, emotional and absolutely passionate ....the unwritten rules so to speak. This is what it is like to support city. CTID

Dear Blues,

I'm a long-time visitor here, first-time poster. As the title says, no I'm not from Manchester, not from the UK...but I've not come on here to justify my credentials as a City fan. Let's just say I saw David White bang in a brace against the dippers at Maine Road. Do I pass?!!

So I was at a High Flying Birds concert recently, with my City jersey on (obviously), and bumped into a fellow Blue in the toilets. I immediately started into a rendition of "Ooooooooh Balotelli..." and he heartily joined in. Problem was when we finished and started talking about the match the weekend before, he heard my non-mancunian accent and just did one, obviously presuming I was a gloryhunting bandwagoner. I just laughed it off, I'm used to it by now, I know I'm a City fan, but what struck me was is this the attitude that all non-mancunians will receive when they visit COMS? I've been loads of times over the years and it's only since the takeover that I've noticed a little bit of it. Now I can totally understand some Blues are uneasy about accepting 'new' fans, God knows we've harped onto the rags about it long enough, but as has been mentioned many times above, world domination requires new fans. Just accept it.

Balotelli's Crib

We have a foreign owner, foreign Manager and a multi racial team, so why shouldnt the fan base be the same. The only colour i see is blue and the only laungage I hear is city.
