I rate Walker, but he isn't better than Micah. Both should be on the plane ahead of Johnson. It's so obvious its unreal.

I have a bad feeling that Micah won't be going to the Euros. Really think Postman Pat has major personal issues with the lad. Did anyone else watching the last two friendlies hope that Dipper Johnson/Walker would really fuck up, just so Capello would have egg on his face?

Micah just needs to concentrate on his club football and forget England for the moment imo. If he keeps playing well for the side that's top of the League then Capello will begin to look extremely silly if he continues to overlook him....

Yep his play will do the talking.

Walker is probably as good as Micah going forward. A defender needs to defend first and foremost and Micah is a lot better than him.

But Micah's got 4 assists all from open play this season. For a full back that's unreal.

Both Walker and Richards are excellent. Walker might look more pleasing on the eye at times but Micah is a beast and has just gets better and better. Micah has improved out of sight under Mancini and just needs to be confident. I think Micah will come out fighting after the latest Crapello snub and be one helluva player for us for years to come.

Yeah Walker may get caught out of position every so ofte, but he's still young and learning. Only recently turned 21 I think.

I didn't expect him to be getting as much time as he has for Spurs, but with Charlie carrying niggly injuries for a while he's really stepped up.

England are fortunate to have two right backs as good as Walker and Richards, it's just a shame the boss doesn't recognise Micah's talent, I don't understand that one myself.

Glen Johnson is shite, and has been injured for time as well.

Walker is a good player, and has done well.

But Richards should at the very least be in the squad. I can understand Walker being included. But how do you justify the inclusion of the laughable Phil Jones, and Glen Johnson?

Yeah, i gotta say, i'd consider myself more fair than the majority of football fans and I'd say that Walker is definitely better going forward than Micah. Anyone who's actually seen him on his best will agree. I remember him on an FA CUP game during his debut (is that right spursprinter?) and he could've passed for a winger! I think they're both very prospective talents and whoever's better pretty much depends on who you support.


As for glen Johnson, he does have better delivery and passing hands down. However, he's clearly a worse full back than Walker and Richards and should be demoted behind Richards and Walker.

I think his debut for Villa on loan was in the FA cup, scored against his old club, long range effort...

As you said, he is probably pretty handy on the wing as he has all the attributes, maybe he'll pressure Lennon a bit with charlie coming back in to the side.

Definitely agree, Richards/Walker should be in there well ahead of Johnson, both are more versatile then him as well as being better in most aspects.
