Tony Coton vs Hart would be interesting
I was thinking the same thing! Always thought Coton was class! Could never fathom how Ball could pick Immel ahead of him. Then again could never understand most of what Ball did!

Dont care how class dzeko is, ageuro is, tevez is, balo is. Shaun goater would score more goals than them all in this team.

Lol
The man is my city idol, so im slighty biased, and when it comes to goater i cant have a reasonable discussion.

Goater > pele

I'll declare some blue tinted spectacle bias towards the Goat too, but honestly, right here, right now, wouldn't he be a more dependable 4th choice striker ahead of Mario?

hopefully by the end of the season I will have been proven very wrong, but till then I love you Shaun, thanks for the memories!

I'd be interested to see how Kinkladze would have fitted into this team. Back in his day he was streets ahead of everyone else so basically had to try and do it all himself and at times of course it didn't work. But now there's players on his wavelength so if he applied himself correctly, he could be an asset to the team and possibly improve it.

He'd certainly still be in my all time City 11 just purely for the talent he had which was unbelievable, even though he was the wrong player at the wrong time for us. Wouldn't be the case now though I don't think. If he didn't fit in to this team, he wouldn't fit into any team!

Maybe I'm looking back through blue tinted specs but I remember some players that I have absolutely loved though. The thought of our current squad with Goater as a super-sub pleases me greatly.

Edit: As previously stated. Sorry, trashed.

Been a city fan for 42 years so remember good and bad players and total donkeys. Only player in the last 20 years who would make this team is Daniel Van Buyten over Lescott and Toure. We only had him for a flash but he is pure class.

This team in its prime would cause anyone trouble and doesnt include Paddy Vieira.

You could put Didi Hamann in it. He played 60 caps for Germany. Somebody that shoots the winning goal in a game against England might do that in the Champions League, too ;) And he won the Champions League in 2005 (scored the 1:0 penalty in the finals) and the Uefa Cup in 2001.

In your lists are some that actually won the Champions League: Tarnat in 2001 (he was in the finals 1999, too), Anelka in 2000, Schmeichel did for sure in 1999
