Yes,we're all gutted about the result last night,but the performance was there for all to see,thats now the benchmark for the future!

Is it all that bad that we're out of europe? I think it came a year too soon,look at how many games we had to play to get this far,give hughes a summer transfer window and europe free season,mad i know,but less games,chance for him to get a settled team and system,plus,we're no longer reliant upon money generated through qualifying for europe!!

what do you all reckon,am i mad or just the eternal optimist?

Nah I'll go with that mate. We can still have a crack at the domestic cups next year. Who knows with everton and villa in europe we might be able to pip them in the league
 
good post. It was an encouraging performance, hopefully it is a benchmark for the rest of the season. Maybe your correct less games gives Hughes a squad with a bit more energy. With his legendary fitness camps maybe we can play at that tempo every week. :)
