Sloppy and slow. After a week off, it's not good enough. Subs weakened us but I won't blame Pep for making them, Nico was one foul away from a red and Nunes was abysmal all game. Bernardo got through a lot of graft. Forwards, all shocking.
 
Well that was two hours of my life I’ll never get back.

Only one who can come out of that with his head held high is Khusanov. Every single other one of them varied on a scale between bang average and completely woeful. Like watching a Stuart Pearce team, not a Pep one.

Forest were set up exactly right. They weren’t great going forward but they knew damn well how to stop us. On that basis they deserved the win, although a draw would have been a fairer reflection. But Ederson for the goal - shocker.
 
Odd substitutions, actually made us weaker. Doku and Bernardo should have been hooked. Forest all season have played like Leicester did when they won the league - defend deep and then get the ball forward quickly when they turn the ball over. Nothing special just very functional and effective. We played into their hands with a slow build up and when we did move it quicker we couldn’t find the pass. Another solid game from Khus though, absolute star in the making. 30 points to play for and I reckon we will need at least seven wins, going to be tough, let’s hope it’s top 5 in CL next year.
 
Used to make me cringe when people on here used to moan about matches being boring when we won 2-0, 3-0. THAT match my friends it what you call boring. If Stuart Pearce served that up as manager he’d be slaughtered and rightly so.
 
Just goes to show how key the CDM is for us. Lost control of the game when Nico went off.
Khusanov was excellent, our best defender by a mile.

Officiating was poor in my opinion, every City tackle was a foul, cheap yellow cards that affected us by forcing the changes. That high foul on Foden probably should have been a red and would have been had it been against Liverpool or Arsenal.

Rico was very poor when he came on, might as well have taken the risk on the 2nd Red. Although its pretty clear we need Nico to start very game now.

Wankers over celebrating... they've done nothing yet.
 
can’t believe that Doku is still on the pitch, does not Mather he dribbles all players on the pitch he would still miss the open net!

We had no creativity today as we often have. No movement, no player that wants the ball it seems like every player is surprised they got the ball and the only thing they have in mind is play the ball back
Kuzh is the only player thought where good today.
