Nottingham Forest (A) | PL | Post Match Thread

It’s really not that difficult to explain.

We’ve become complacent as a club, no doubt distracted by all the legal issues, and we’ve overseen a dramatic decline in the quality of the squad.

We’ve bought lots of mediocrity to replace great players, barring one or two exceptions , and the manager has lost his edge as well.

It’s going to be a hard job getting back on top again and I don’t think we’ll do it without wholesale changes.

So played ok without any creativity or cutting edge and then conceded a late goal on a counter attack after one of our players makes a mistake. At least we're consistent in that regards anyway.

Absolute turd.

Bernardo…thanks for the memories. What a player you once were. However, if you were gonna retire early, you really should have let us know.

This side has collectively lost the fucking plot. Theres a handful (at most) who can be happy with their season. The majority have been up and down. A few have been utter shite all season.

Woeful.

Utter dogshit, and that was just Forest! How the fuck do we concede so many soft goals against teams who create so few chances?

Having said that, wasting all that possession in the final third because nobody can play a decent final ball is soul destroying, especially when we've got the best goalscorer in the world up front.

To add insult to injury, the commentary and refereeing was disgustingly biased towards Forest.

That was absolutely dreadful, so disappointing to not push on in the second half & go down to an easy defeat

Pep’s subs killed us. Bernardo I thought was awful, how Foden came off instead is beyond me.

Feels like 2 hours wasted
