If you are going to point out flaws, don't protect anyone. Haaland often isn't making the runs either.

That substitution was baffling. I know he was on a yellow but it's no excuse to take him off.

We were in control of the game, Not creating a lot but we were comfortable, Once Gonzalez gets taken off it opens us up as a team and we get exposed. Kovavic doesn't have that in his game to sense danger.
 
The pass to Hudson-Odoi was superb but the defending was absolutely pathetic. Gvardiol was shit scared and did absolutely nothing. I've seen fucking five year olds defend better than that. Eddie should have done better but it was a decent shot and if you were him you'd expect the ballbag in front of you to block.it at least.
 
The best thing we can do is admit the team

Pep is to blame, NO manager should come out and say it's ok to lose this season, If the manager waves the white flags the players will, Forget its all about the past titles wins or injuries, Bollocks you have EDS and Youth players hungry and good enough to finish in a top 4 place,

Stop pulling the wool over everybody's eyes, When you see players not being questioned after another loss something is not right, Sorry, Haaland today did you want to play, Foden shaking his head coming off ??? you were shit, But you know next week your place in the team is yours

People can moan about tactics, subs etc but the truth is half the squad is either past it or not the quality we need.
It amazes me the overreaction every time we play, like we’re gonna just flick a switch and suddenly those players that are too old are gonna turn back the clock and the players below quality are suddenly gonna become world beaters.
This is gonna be a slow process unfortunately.
If there’s any blame to be had it’s on the board for letting us get in this situation.

Kovacic fucked up the easiest pass at the start of it. Somehow. It would’ve set Marmoush away 1v1 as well.
 
We’ve got massive problems up front & in terms of creativity. No end product from Doku & Sav, Phil & Bernie ghosting through games, Kev’s finished & Marmoush looks soft, he’s not the kind of player imho that will dig you out of a hole. I don’t understand why we never asked Haaland to drop into midfield occasionally & try drawing out a defender to create space. Come the end of the game we’re asking Khusanov to put crosses in, where’s our conductor? a player that dictates play, ups the pace or slows it down, everything just feels so one paced(slow) and predictable

Dire, slow, passive, turgid, nonsense football. Not a single decent attempt in anger and their keeper not tested once - but is anyone actually shocked by the result?

Never helps when you start with the worst player in the league (nunes) and replace him with the second worse (Lewis) if we have any kind of aspirations of winning leagues again neither of those can stay.

Very worrying considering we have only top 4 left to play for and they put in that kind of performance. Pep has a lot to answer for, had a week to prepare for this game and they put out a stinking performance like that?

He should have engaged him earlier, and Dias should have backed him up leaving Khus one on one with Wood.
But with Nico on the pitch we wouldn't have been in that defensive state.
