Pretty much spot on, like big Steve's blogs
It's like seeing the same film again when you know the outcome. 100%With respect i disagree slightly
These games are now far too predictable now when we go 1 up.
I don't know whether its a pep tactic slightly not to go a little easy to save legs etc but everyone knew what was going to happen when we didn't score a 2nd. Copy and paste the Everton game and the Villa away game I think it was. Its so frustrating even listening to it on the radio you knew what was coming. It's like seeing the same film agai when you know the outcome.
The main question is why are we not scoring more goals when we've got arguably the world's best striker? Foden also has take a lot of the blame for failing to pass properly.
All in all a very poor result.
We were walking back to the station after the game and talking to a couple of blokes who said pretty much the same thing. It wasn't you, was it?!I am a Forest fan and have been for about 50 years. City are the best team I have ever seen at the City Ground. I am so glad that it was an off day for the City strikers. You will definitely win the league.
Thanks mate,we were on great form on Saturday.....something of a throwback as that hasn't been our normal standard recently. Its a shame (for us) like you say that our shooting boots were left on the coach, along with the subs and Pep's last 20 min tactic sheet.I am a Forest fan and have been for about 50 years. I am serious when I say that with respect I disagree with you. I can see why you might think this was another on the theme of becoming too predictable when we go one up and not finishing the opposition off but that's not how I see it. It's important to make the distinction between the result and the performance; the result was frustrating in the extreme but the performance was, in my opinion, very good. This was like the old days where City dominated possession and strangled the life out of the opposition. The chances kept coming, one after another but the ball simply would not go in: a bullet header from Laporte straight at the 'keeper, but the rebound evades Dias agonisingly; Haaland, first shot blocked by the 'keeper, follow up against the bar, third attempt over the bar - and he's usually not a bad finisher; then Haaland and Foden in a photocopy of the second goal at Leeds, but it ends up with Phil flat on his back with the ball rolling harmlessly away. And these were just the most glaring incidents in a match which saw us win several free headers at corners but put them narrowly off target. When I contrast this with other games we have not won after taking the lead I have to say that what hit me then was the slow build up play and the absence of chances created. We had to rely on Haaland to look like scoring, and when out possession we gave teams far too much space and allowed them to play without us putting any pressure on them or the ball. I will hazard the forecast that if we play like we did on Saturday we will win the title (and be in with a good shout of the two cups we're in.With respect i disagree slightly

Decent manager too. I always think he comes across well.some great footy in the 70s when forest won the league and Europe, what a team, the most tatty looking winger robertson but a class winger, all round balanced team.
hope you enjoyed the game saturday, i thought we passed the ball very similar to the season we got 100 pts, some call it boring footy but i like the pass pass... Shame about our finishing !
hope forest stay up, big club and should be up there.
