Come on, get your head matey

what we have done and achieve in the past 6 seasons under pep is special, the biggest/best period in our clubs' history bar nothing else, we never demand glory because we are not glory hunters,

walk tall and proud, you're a blue and we are the best fans in the world,
Butters no parsnips I'm afraid - good effort though.

Arsenal’s next 6 league games are Leicester, Everton, Bournemouth, Fulham, Palace and Leeds, with 4 of them at home and only 2 away. We fucked it at a pretty shit moment to fuck it.

As someone pointed out the other day, some of our players have not had a proper rest for three years, and we've had a stupid World Cup in the middle of the season. (Due to FIFA corruption, IMO.)

This was always going to be a hard season. It is proving so. We also have several key players in their 30s, doing a 'Freddie Hill' - by which I mean they are quality, but can't last 90 minutes anymore, especially when we have three games a week.

Nah.. you could tell kev knew he was struggling from his body language but that would have made him more determined to do something special as the game went on rather than giving up and asking to come off
I think the reason he was shaking his head so much was because he was so amazed by our brilliant finishing.
He clearly hates to lose and shows it more than the others.

yes, the way Arse won yesterday that was really bad. they needed a win after the big midweek loss, they go down two times in first half and nick it by scoring two laughable goals in extra time.
that is the kind of shit champions do when needed.

when Jesus is back for them I also expect them to improve as he was immense for them before his injury making everyone around him playing better.

United winning the league is just hysterical click bait whipped up by the media.
I felt the same until yesterday. I still think it's a proper punt of an outside chance, but there is a very clear route for them now. If, say, they beat Leicester, Arsenal lose against Leicester, and we beat Bournemouth then it starts to look very, very congested at the top all of a sudden. Especially so given we need to play Arsenal still.

After the frustration of yesterday, I think we need settle and realize we are in three horse race. We're not up against Liverpool of a few years ago, it's not a head to head where even a dropped point will cost you, and we need to focus on picking up every point we can.

Don’t care what anyone says he is not good enough for Man City and will continue to cost us points this season and the next . I don’t care if he can 25 yard pass a ball because we have outfield players who do that I just want him to save shots I mean that’s his job right !

He didn't cost us points today: the people in front of him did.

Our defence, either actual defence or the team as whole, has not been good enough in away games this season

I don't see us going on a long winning run this season.
Our entire left side absolutely sold themselves for their goal yesterday. Gundo in no man’s land, then Bernardo and then (worst of all) Laporte. All of the commit and drift past the ball aimlessly. Absolute shit.

Well done to all the blues who travelled yesterday. I don’t know how you did it but, according to Forest fans on Twatter you were simultaneously the best, noisiest away fans all season and the worst, quietest ones.

Fucking weirdos.

Have just watched the highlights as I couldn’t be arsed when I got in last night. I came away thinking we’d played well and I still think that but just a few observations. We had so many clear cut chances to win the game. Individual error, a couple of good saves and a bag full of tame efforts really. We have to be better than that because we’re as weak as a puppy defensively. Also just saw Haaland go down when he was through. What the fuck was he thinking? Not a chance that was a foul.

What concerns me most is the fact that we simply won’t tackle. Look at Laporte and Rodders for their goal. Basketball marking and they should be embarrassed. I’ve said this before, we wait for mistakes or interceptions every single time. That ball shouldn’t have got near the 6 yard box. We’re as soft as shit.

Positives again that we kept the ball well on the most part and at least played forwards. Happy to see Phil back in the team, although he needs to finish the one he tries to square to Haaland. Grealish did well again, he looks to be enjoying his football more and it shows.

Put it down to bad luck and go again. We can’t dwell on it and need to twat Bournemouth next weekend.

Rodri was in the box and didn't want to give a pen away but was perhaps too cautious. Laporte should have cleaned the guy out one way or another. Other players should have done better in defending that Forest move too.

We win titles because we dominate teams and our defence is solid and we hardly give the opponents chances now what would we be like if we were getting peppered ween in week in ganes and ederson had to be the main man . Sorry but I’m not a fan and as I said before I don’t think he is not a patch on a prime joe hart .
Sorry about calling you a loon. I don't dispute he's not keeping well at the moment. Nor would I dispute that he could be replaced by an overall better goalkeeper. But to say someone is not a City player who has been in net for 4 title wins doesn't make any sense.

Fair play fella . I think one of the problems he faces is that during a game we are never backs to the wall and maybe he could take his eye off the ball . Im abit old fashioned were I think keepers are shot stoppers and defenders need to defender instead of being able to pass a nice pass and we should always have a destroyer playing alongside a playmaker in midfield with a good old fashioned striker upfront being fed by rapid wingers but im probably outdated . Love this forum with everyone’s opinions .

Rewatched most of the game and watched City's section on MotD.

Our result was a very bad joke. One of those almost inexplicable games at a ground where we have had more than our fair share of bad luck. However, City still only have themselves to blame.

I hope Jonh Stones gets fit soon and he and Dias stay fit until the season's end and are paired together, with Ake vs tougher teams. I think 3 at the back and Bernie I his latest role can work against bus parkers.

I still think Pep should have introduced Ake and Phillips on 80 minutes yesterday but we should not be seeing multiple errors defending one move from the opposing team - as we did yesterday - whoever is on the pitch, and the manager is entitled to expect better.

Leicester, Fulham and Palace not easy. And Leeds won at Anfield and almost did at Old Toilet. Nothing is a gimme at this time. Arsenal were extremely lucky yesterday with Bailey's shot hitting the bar and Martinez deflecting Jorginho's shot. On another day, they lose/draw and we win. And that other day will come.

Also they will be shitting bricks at the thought of coming to our place. That's why winning on Wed was by far the most important result of the season so far.

On evidence of the whole season, there is no way Laporte should start ahead of Ake. Agree Bernardo at LB is a good shout for bus parkers but then Ake at LCB every day and twice on weekends.

For Forest read Bournemouth. Another old small tight ground, a team struggling, I'm already fearing a rinse and repeat next week.

As fantastic as he is, yesterday was on Pep I’m afraid. Get Ake on after 75 minutes and we’ve won that game. Some of our older players were out on their feet on 70 minutes as well but he doesn’t change it until 88 minutes!
Why he banged on about 5 subs is an absolute mystery…….

11 points dropped from winning positions is bad enough, but the number of late goals we are conceding is ridiculous. Forget missed chances, as they always happen, but not being able to see a game out, against a team that were bottom of the championship last year and had 7 regulars missing, is a huge worry. We could be on the end of a right battering in the CL when we draw somebody decent, assuming we can navigate our way past Leipzig, which is certainly not a given..
