I’ll be in town Saturday when this is on, around Deansgate or Spinningfields, can anyone recommend a pub to watch it in? Preferably but not essentially with food available

-----------------Ederson---------------
Nunes----Khusanov-----Dias----Gvardiol
--------------Nico-----------Kovacic----------
Savio------------Marmoush--------Doku
---------------------Haaland---------------------

Win this and go third and have a good cushion for getting into top 4.

I don't think there's much with screens in spinningfields itself, that I can think of, but 'The Box' , and the 'Lost Dene' both have screens, and they are more or less opposite each other on Deansgate, you can book tables i think, and they both do food as far as I know, most City centre pubs do now ..... the Box is a favourite with rags for home games, but they don't play until Sunday ..... I think the nearby Sawyers Arms has a screen or two as well .... these pubs are all in the vicinity of Deansgates junction with John Dalton street.

I think the 'ape and apple' on John Dalton street itself has a screen or two as well ..... as does the Crown and Anchor near Shambles Square, just off Deansgate .... or the Brotherhood, just off Albert Square nr the town hall, five mins walk from Deansgate.

Muslims are used to it (obviously) and know what suits their bodies, to function normally in their lives, as in particular times to eat....they don't all walk around knackered like zombies during the day ;)
Some actually do. They get short tempered as well. It's a real slog for them especially in a place like the UK with a spring with long sunlight hours and short nights. Breaking your sleep at 4am to eat a feast before sun up has its own issues as well

Closer to Piccadilly but Waldorf will definitely have it on. City pub as well.

Yes Ipswich reserves are struggling there tonight.
I know the league table doesn’t lie etc, but I’m honestly not convinced they are all that. I’m quietly confident we can win there this weekend, and as others have said, an early Sat KO can be quite handy for away teams in terms of creating a subdued atmosphere.

Nottingham Forest aren't playing anywhere near as well as they have been, They've been struggling in recent weeks.

They've won 1 game of their last 7.

Bournemouth 5-0 Forest
Fulham 2-1 Forest
Newcastle 4-3 Forest
Forest 0-0 Arsenal

That's four of their last five results. They game they won was a 7-0 win at home to. Brighton.

They also had two FA Cup ties:

Exeter 2-2 Forest
Forest 1-1 Ipswich

Spot on,but there’s nothing like facing the champions which gets you up for a battle and raise’s your levels ..

Yep, at that end of town I should imagine the Salmon of knowledge, on Lever Street, will have it on too ..... as most likely will the Piccadilly Tavern.

The Directors Box, just off Moseley St have plenty of screens too .... as has that sports bar on Tibb street, Tibb Street Tavern..

Correct but if you look at us from a neutral perspective, we've got 3 of 4 senior cb's out for months and we've won just 5 league games away all season 3 of the current bottom 4, Chelsea opening game and then spurs. Hardly a record to be feared by Forest.

Very true.

It's certainly a game that both teams will feel that they can win, Forest being the home team too will be confident.

It could go either way, Very hard game to call. I do fancy us to win this narrowly. Erling being the difference.

We can definitely win it. I dont think Forest are anywhere close to being the 3rd best side in the league to be honest, i just think they've been relatively consistent and remained relatively injury free and are benefitting from other clubs not having that. I think the likes of Newcastle, Villa and Brighton are better teams. Fair play to them though, theyre making the most of it.

I can't make the call on how the game will pan out until I've seen the lineup and seen 5-10 minutes to know how pep is going to set us up. Its all on him for me.

If we let Forests wingers get at what will be a bit of a makeshift defence and isolate pur fullbacks, that's going to be very dangerous, voth as a goal threat and as a supply line as Wood will dominate khusanov/dias aerially. we also cannot play the slow stuff on the ball like we did against plymouth, Forest are extremely comfortable not having the ball, they'll sit in against that kind of football all day, we need to hit them with speed and catch them before they can set themselves.
