I didn't expect Grealish to start in the CL home leg against Madrid this season. Very difficult to predict the front 4 with Pep this season, not so much the back 4 due to the injuries.

I think that’s the likely team

I would suggest 9 of them will definitely start, the two possibles being
Kovacic or Silva
Marmoush or Foden or KDB

Doku and Savinho are firm starters right now. It might be debatable whether Marmoush is a better option than Foden or KDB, but he is doing well and has to learn how we play anyway. So, no changes from Spurs injuries permitting.

A lot of folk thought we would eliminate Madrid and down the dippers. It was never likely but hope springs eternal in the average fans heart. Tomorrow is a game which we need something out of and a win would be perfect. We can claim the points if we defend well for a change but I expect us to concede a couple so a draw would be a satisfactory return.
