I know I'm constantly pushing for more Jack (no jokes) - but in this game at this time I think Jack to start would help the left side link up and support for Gvad tremendously compared to Doku whom I think would be most ideal to come on later and absolutely terrorize their then tired flank.

I'd be surprised if its not the same 11 as Spurs. The only change to the squad as a whole will be Reis taking Ake's place on the bench. I'd love for Echeverri to get a spot on the bench but can't see any of those that were on there against spurs missing out for him

Slightly surprised to see how sanguine a very substantial majority are about our prospects of a victory. Yes, we could win. Our chances are very fair. But we're still pretty wobbly, you know.
Sanguine? Showing your erudition there, mon ami. :-)
A word rarely used these days and usually in other contexts, e.g. The Guardian said they were "sanguine of a Kamala Harris victory." But football? Don't think I ever heard anyone say "I'm sanguine of a win today" while queuing up in the chippy on Claremont Road before a game. Just as one wouldn't say "I'm sanguine that Selena Gomez will call round for a few hours of fun tonight" would one?

Written register, my dear. Written register. When I'm writing, I take it up a notch. On Claremont Road I would adjust accordingly, and declare, in stentorian tones, “We're gonna fuckin leather this lot today!"

Nottingham Forest aren't playing anywhere near as well as they have been, They've been struggling in recent weeks.

They've won 1 game of their last 7.

Bournemouth 5-0 Forest
Fulham 2-1 Forest
Newcastle 4-3 Forest
Forest 0-0 Arsenal

That's four of their last five results. They game they won was a 7-0 win at home to. Brighton.

They also had two FA Cup ties:

Exeter 2-2 Forest
Forest 1-1 Ipswich
Timely post that.

A crucial game for top 4 finish. Our form is much better as the new recruits settle in and I expect us to win a tough game 0-1.

Attended this pivotal game last season and loved every minute of it ... dug it out that day and confident of a similar result tomorrow given our 7 days 'rest' which will set us up nicely for the final stages of the season ... onwards and upwards ...

I may not know everything but I do know this: This is the match that shows that City (while being knocked down) have not been knocked out. They win this, challenge Arsenal for 2nd, the FA Cup and let everybody know that they're taking everybody out next season.
