Two quality goals from Forrest meant we didn't stumble over the line this time around.

We aren’t good enough to win the title…but occasionally we have hope Arsenal will lose it.

Pulling your arm away doesn’t matter. Does he touch his right foot and ankle? Yes. Does it prevent Haaland from doing anything else witj the ball? Yes

By your logic we never should’ve had a penalty against Liverpool. Nunes literally pissed the ball out of play and Alison pulled out of the challenge as well.

Haaland is laughing about the fact that they decided to deny him a penalty, not because he didn’t think it was one.

I'm not sure what is a penalty nowadays. Some referees are like you and think any sort of physical contact in the box is ok others the slightest touch and they point to the spot. And don't get me started on handball - a total lottery.

Our style of football is now built on control with little to no creativity....

We are no longer getting the best out of Haaland....we create very little in terms of chances for him at all. This box formation we have to fit Semenyo and Haaland into the team isnt very good....solid most of the time but turgid and stale going forward...Semenyo cant play wide either by the looks of it....or Pep wont play him wide....not sure which

Combine that with players who just arent as good as everyone thinks (so no depth off the bench)....

We have too many single moment players who are not consistent throughout the match...Semenyo, Reijnders, Cherki being 3 big ones....They have moments of brilliance or scoring a goal but do nothing for the rest of the match....Dias at the back is also inconsistent.
Foden underperforming as well (but again the formation isnt helping him)
Fullbacks who dont stop crosses - again tonight with the first goal.

No natural width is also killing us....our fullbacks are supposed to create that but dont often enough.

Loads of possession but doing very little with it

Totally agree with this. Pep needs to find players who can get that high intensity pressing back and sort his midfield out for next season. Wouldnt be surprised to get kicked out by Mbappe, Bellingham and Rodrygo less Real Madrid.

The problem with Phil is that he' showing no form so nobody is going to sign him on past reputation. Also if he has the medical problem rumoured it's another negative against signing him at this time. Whilst I don't know him I also wonder has too much baggage around him that would prevent him from either moving abroad or down south.
 
Thought we had snatched it last second, was hoping we could keep sneaking these wins like we have been.

Still, they had a great chance from a corner in injury (cant remember who it was)
That goes in and it could affect us massively
 
After watching city for 50 years congratulations to pgmol and arsenal for winning the league together
Haaland never a penalty but rodri anywhere else on pitch it's a foul
 
For the first 12 minutes of the second half we must have had 100% possession as I can’t remember a Forest player touching the ball. When they finally got the ball deep in their own half they came up the field and scored.

Possession is meaningless unless you do something with the ball when you have it.

On top of that it’s fucking boring to watch.

Thought we controlled it and limited them to 3 or 4 moments in attack, unfortunately they scored from 2 of them.

I would criticise the inability to kill the game off, we should have scored early in the second half before the equaliser and we were poor after Rodri's goal.

Thought the incident in added time was a clear penalty aswell. Anderson was late and high and Rodri hooked his shot because he saw it coming.

He was laughing because he knows how much of a joke this league is. It literally is laughable

One season wonder foden, over hyped and has no spacial awareness as a attacking midfielder. Get a price on him now
 
Pass pass pass I’m done with that shite and who the fuck with 30 secs to go takes a short corner! Pep was about to make two subs then we scored, why not bring them on then to push home the advantage? I didn’t think we would win the league this year im just surprised with how bad we are that we are still second. Still I’m fortunate I got an email from City saying for £30k + VAT I can have a box for the Madrid game.
