where he's fouling the defender by holding him behind his backNah, Haaland knew what he was doing. He was more upset about the other one that I haven’t seen back yet.
clear and obvious

Based on how certain other teams get penalties it was a blatant pen. We never get them so are conditioned to think along the lines you do.I didn’t think it was. He turns his leg away from the ball into the keeper.
yet ref didnt have opion either way just waited for var who cant so they say re-ref gameThought Haaland made it easy for the ref on the penalty incident. He didn't even look like he was appealing it after he went down.
Keeper briefly rubbed his head and realised if he makes too much of that, it's obvious contact was made and should of been a penalty regardless of the contact to his foot, which was also a penaltyNah, Haaland knew what he was doing. When he knocks the ball away from the keeper he moves his leg towards him, and he just carried on in a straight line he may still have got hit but we will never know, yes we’ve seen them given for other teams but it still doesn’t make it right, I’m sick of players from all teams trying to con referees, what we should be focusing on is that we shouldn’t have been in that position in the first place trying to cheat to get results. The whole of football is one big cheatathon these days, you got players been resettled to the ground or throwing themselves to floor, Maguire feigning been kicked in the head, players rolling round like they’ve been shot suddenly jump up like the fucking Resurrection (Cherki did it last night), it’s becoming tiresome and not the game I love. We talk more now about that shit than the actual game because nobody remembers the football just VAR and cheating.I didn’t think it was. He turns his leg away from the ball into the keeper.

Get somebody else to take that role and put him a position like Rodri did when he scored to attack the incoming corner. He is no use just blocking the keeper. If they pull him back or obstruct him he should hit the deck and make them make a decision.Erl is always on the wrong side of the keeper on corners.
Erl should be in front of him and then he can either head the ball to another player or get a shot at goal.
It would also make it difficult for the keeper to get a clear view of exactly where the ball is.
That's what I think.
The League Cup Final v Arsenal should be a cracking match, in theory. The game is gone now, but I think it's a very big week coming up in terms of chances of winning silverware with Newcastle then Madrid, the title race is over not just because of the 7-point lead Arsenal have, but City will drop more points.
It's now all our eggs are in the Cups basket, it still could be a great season if we win one of the cups then build on that next season
Expressed an opinion is all - not gonna get into an argument. I know, after 50 years of watching games, that's what football is about.oh get a grip thats football
if my auntie had wheels she'd be a bike
we couldve been not even in one competition to start with and out both cups in first round but in champions league places is now strangly classed as great season
I definitely thought it was a foul. I think it was CherkiA decent performance spoiled by letting in 2 goals.
From my seat their second goal could have been a foul for us before they got the ball back to start their move.

However, am concerned both teams will play too cautiously and will cancel each other out.
Arteta has the chance to make a statement, but he is a ruthless, but cowardly manager.
Hopefully, an extra time winner for City...
Both these players you mention are nowhere near elite. Now will they progress, maybe but I would be surprised if Marmoush is still here next September.City are now an elite club by every metric and aspire to continue. Whilst I agree with some of your points, Ive not seen enough from the likes of Reijnders or Marmoush to convince me they are or will be elite players. At present they come off the bench squad players at best rather than as automatic starters when at their age in their positions you cannot be looking at potential. A winning mentality is not just about skill and is currently lacking in some players. Yes, we have been spoiled but long may it continue.
Mate how long have u been watching football?Nah, Haaland knew what he was doing. He was more upset about the other one that I haven’t seen back yet.
Hate to say it, but....Henderson; last year; they've got form! The League cup final, you hope the match officials and VAR don't spoil it and anti City
On paper, we are good enough to beat them in a final, but i said that last season with palace
Mental take.Watching it back, I can live with the first goal; it was a great finish, although Semenyo had a grade A opportunity to make a tactical foul at the half line and didn't. I also thought Nunes could have dealt with the cross better.
The second goal is the really frustrating one. Rodri slides for a ball, doesn't get it, so is out of position. The ball is quickly switched, and Foden, Cherki, Rodri, and Bernardo are all just half-jogging towards Anderson. Inexcusable effort.
