Despite the result today, am feeling a bit more optimistic about this one now. Thought there were some signs of improvement out there that we can take into the next game. Play Grealish and De Bruyne as 8s, with Doku and Foden out wide and we’ll carry a lot more attacking threat.

We're due!

I can see us giving them a good pasting. So I'd mix this up.

Ortega did enough for another start and i'd start with our best defence.

I'm starting Kev, Bernie and Grealish in the midfield.

I'd also start Doku and Savinho, but play them on their natural sides, enough of this coming inside, let them take their men on and put in crosses! What have we got to lose?!

Great shout Ric - This is the team right now - Jack in the middle is a must and frees Gundo up a bit to make those late runs into the box.

I don’t mind if Ortega is in but I think at home we’ll have more ball and edersons kicking might be more helpful
 
After Pep’s comments I think Grealish central is a given.

We're actually a long way past MUST WIN.
There has to be a turning point though - this is going to be the one.
(I have no idea how we improve that midfield though as it stands)

Wouldn't have Kev anywhere near the starting 11 from what I've seen from him in his cameos.

There's a reason he only played 10 minutes today, and that's a huge concern.
 
I genuinely believe that if we win one game convincingly — that just means dominating possession (we nearly always do), putting a reasonable proportion of our chances away (not been doing that too much recently, but we usually do) and not conceding at the back (a big problem right through the season, admittedly) — we can turn the whole narrative around. Momentum will swing.
Why not start on Wednesday?
