There's a reason why Palace and Forest are in the final and semi-final. They're well-managed hard-working teams with a clear identity on how they want to play. City have a real opportunity to lift the cup but we have to respect the opposition.

Acquiesced a lot in recent weeks.

The lads are fighting hard, often against their internal clocks, to get us over the line. It's all you can ask for as a fan really, especially after the last 15 years we've had.

Forest are a good side and if we lose to them you'll have to say fair enough. I'd be pleased for any Forest or Palace fan if that's the final match-up.

Two big fanbases who've suffered as we did in the 80s and 90s and deserve a special day. Hopefully it doesn't come at our expense but if it does, okay then.
