Gvardiol for me, with Ake a close second. If Josko hadn't got the goal when he did we could have struggled. Ake saved us defensively a few times at the back and KDB played well too.

Rodri, Ake, Gvardiol, Jack. Everyone else was either bang average or piss poor. Walker would have been the worst, but for the performance of the Forest groundsman. Worst pitch of the season. Might as well have just coated it in treacle and had done…..

Ake was class. So consistent. He is always aware of danger and the number of times he makes the right defensive decisions is phenomenal. Yet another gold medal should be awarded to our scouting team for spotting him, assessing how he would fit into our squad and paying relatively fuck all for him.

I have to say, that although Kovačić wasn’t particularly outstanding, his presence helped to stabilise the midfield and gave Rodri some assistance to stop Forest's dominance in the middle of the pitch.

Rodri, he controlled our play in the second half.

It was close, as Ake had another great game and the left side is looking solid with him and Gvardiol there.
