Doku was good with his skill, and scored, BUT his finishing and final ball continues to flatter to deceive. KdB was also good, scoring and assisting, but he twice nearly assisted Forest, and when he gives the ball away he doesn't try and get back and retrieve it. Bernardo had his best game for weeks, back to his waspish self.

However that was one of Grealish's best performances for City for me, so gets my vote.

So much better from City though, but the signs have been there for three games now, we were mostly good against Feynoord until we fell apart with 15 minutes or so to go, and I thought we played pretty well at Anfield after we could have been 4 or 5 down after 15 minutes.
He reminds me of early Salah. Was as good as he is now with the ball at his feet at 22 but his final cross or finishing were bobbins early in his career.

A bit like Frank Lampard; Salah supposedly worked and worked and worked on his finishing at training. I’ve heard it said of both of them that they would stay at the training ground after everyone else had gone home to practice their shooting. And it paid off for both of them.

Nice to have a fit KDB back again firing on all cylinders. Doku too.
But....
For me, MOTM was... Jack Grealish.
Kept the ball well, found his man with the pass time snd time again, pressed well and tracked the runners.
A fantastic performance.

Went with Doku, carried a threat all game great assist for Kev and great goal for himself. Thought Jack was also fantastic and his ability to take the ball and retain it in the middle under pressure is something we've been lacking.
