Nottingham Forest Thread | 2025/26 | Dyche appointed as manager

What a transfer window they've had.

Really seems as if they want to close the gap on Villa and Newcastle now as teams trying to move in on the big 6.

On paper their team/squad is probably the 9th best? Maybe 10th behind Brighton.

There was that confrontation on the pitch with the mad man and Nuno at the end of last season, Nuno doesn't like not to have a say in recruitment, seems that is not the case this summer.

Tbh I think that the club is doing a pretty sound job of strengthening the team, unless Nuno doesn't approve of their recent signings of course.

The owner's behaviour does appear to be "unusual and melodramatic" but there are so many others who are
" suspect" to say the least, especially the US owners, although I think cunts is probably a better description.

Change unusual and melodramatic for mad bastard and you'd be about right.

Seems like they're having a huge turnover of players to try and take the next step from being a pretty successful side to one that can challenge for things. Possibly extending to the manager. Seems pretty risky and disruptive, but they made a ton of progress last year, but it's so difficult to progress beyond that. They're giving it a go at least.

Some reports saying Nuno has picked the players and got the ones he wanted while the greek ganster was pretending to be a minority shareholder, now he is no longer acting like he was in charge and taken full control again he isn't happy he couldn't choose the signings and has made it known
