What a weird decision. As pointed out by rag legend Rooney, Gibbs-White fouled O'Reilly not the other way around for the goal.

The potential second yellow and red for Dias should have happened, no point trying to deny that, we got away with one massively there but its not as if its a completely unheard of decision, that happens plenty of times over the course of a season and nowhere near meets the threshold to be lodging a complaint. That is the only contentious decision in the game.

Im all for clubs asking for more accountability and explanations from questionable officiating but you've got to pick your battles.

Hopefully theyll recieve an explanation why jesus wasnt given a yellow for waving an imaginary card and a second yellow for diving, or a straight red for a knee high challenge, maybe theyll get an explanation as to why anderson didnt get a second yellow for shoving the ref or why city didnt get a penalty for milenkovic cleaning out a player in the area.

Oh theyre ignoring those are they?

Tbf i dont agree that dias should have been sent off, dias doesnt change the course of his run, jesus does to initiate the contact.

They've got form though .

Didn't they have their own referee , Mark Clattenburg , on a contract last year

" in the hope of using my extensive experience as a match official to help NFFC understand how decisions in relation to key match incidents are made amid the workings of VAR."

That went well ....

It was a fairly clear yellow that doesnt always get punished but more often than not does. Dias has deliberately gone into him to prevent him getting on the end of a ball behind him. Would you be saying the same if that were a Forest player escaping a second yellow?

The thing with the Dias challenge is that it was completely understandable for the ref to miss it, as it looked totally accidental until you see him glance over at Igor on the slomo replay. And because it was only a possible 2nd yellow, VAR can't get involved

As said above, this was the only contentious decision that went against Forest, so what do the fat twat and the gravel-eating ginger **** actually expect from this?

Yeah i would, i genuinely believe that jesus runs across dias path to generate the contact and it isnt initiated by dias, i agree it is subjective tho

They should be told that trying to con a free kick out of the ref is a bookable offence, and the only mistake for the goal was the Gibb-White didnt get a yellow.

They should also be told that Jesus was lucky not to be sent off and the refs will keep an eye to make sure that sort of mistake doesn't happen again.

Performative nonsense from a manager who wants deflect from his teams performance , a clickbait dependent media and a boss who is completely bonkers .
Would love PGMOL response to ban Anderson and the defender, both for shoving the referee.
But if any team should write to PGMOL it should be us sending a highlight reel of free kicks awarded for dives v us, and the non penalty calls and audio from the Newcastle match

The MGW decision has been pretty much cleared up I would have thought courtesy of Wayne Rooney. The Dias second yellow, as we’ve seen, is open to interpretation. Whatever your opinion is, for or against, it’s not difficult to make a case to support it which means it’s entirely subjective and whether you agree or not Rob Jones’ decision shouldn’t be open to question by Forest.

The better team won, just let it go

The talking point of one of their players being fouled in the build-up to the City winner is not even close to a foul
in fact, the Forest player is trying to cheat the referee by faking the foul. Dias didn't foul Jesus ? It was just a player running across another path and accidental, the truth is Dias' yellow card was for nothing because that wasn't a foul as well

Also, every corner Forest won, there was trouble with their players holding slapping pulling shirts of the City defenders ? The ref had to blow up 2 or 3 times to sort out the mess

Was it a foul in the first place ? Dias and the forest player were running across each other and Dias made no effort to get the ball or tackle or make a challenge. It was accidental contact and not a foul. The ref made the mistake of giving it as a foul
