Yep opinions. Mine is that Dias was unlucky to be on a yellow. In the context of the game i didn't think his reaction to the foul looked excessive. Waving an imaginary card is clear dissent but that went unpunished

Getting booked then shoving the ref should've been a red for Anderson, don't hear dyche or anyone talking about it

I agree. Reijnders is getting better, especially further forward. I think, with Pep’s help, he will turn into a major asset. He has been playing too deep but he’s not a defender.

Needs ro stop giving the ball away and do things a little simpler

I watched it in a bar with no sound thankfully but I did wonder what the fook was going on with that. We should tell them to sod off with the halftime interviews also. Just seems completely inappropriate.

Was watching the American broadcast, and that was the first time I had ever seen a half time interview. While Ruben carried himself well, I didn't really like it or want to see it, as it was another talking point for the pundits. Hate it when another americanism creeps into the sport, as they do it in all their sports here, the NFL style tackling is already over the top.

I went to Uni in Nottingham when Forest were at their peak; loathed them ever since. Brian Clough was wasted on their support.

Did anyone see this clip of Ruben Dias grabbing Bernardo yesterday? Ha!

Basically when Cherki scores, they are all celebrating by the fans.

Dias then notices 3 Forest players surrounding the ref to appeal the goal. As Dias is already booked and isn’t the captain, if he gets involved he might get booked.
So he grabs Bernardo and sends him in the direction of the ref. As if to say, never mind celebrating, you’re the captain, get your arse over there and get involved :-D

Regarding Cherki’s goal not being disallowed when O’Reilly knocking MGW to the ground… I’ve seen replays but the replays never show what happened. I don’t know if the camera ever caught the whole tussle, but it just seems highly unlikely O’Reilly just pushed MGW over. It is more likely MGW grabbed O’Reilly and tried the pull him to the ground. Thus we see O’Reilly breaking free of MGW when he stands up.

What has happened to the obstruction rules? Standing in front of a player to block him is a foul leading to an indirect free kick. That should include the goalkeeper. Challenging for the ball is fine but not obstructing someone with no intention of playing the ball. The rules are not being enforced. The same is true of players feigning injury and diving. That is a booking offence. PGMOL is a complete disgrace. The game is being taken away from the paying customers.
