Aldridge! That's him, the one who tried to sell Steve Ireland for £2m to Sunderland behind Hughes' back, allegedly. That was the name that cropped up most when people discussed SpursMad, though I always had a sneaking suspicion it was Mark Bowen or someone connected to him. Started his career at Spurs, so it must have been him . . . .
