Re: Now this is a report too far surely?

I wondered how long this sort of shit would take to surface.
They simply HAVE to link something, however tenuous, about perceived "failure" at City being somehow due in part to the rags.
Utter fucking fantasy.
I'm just waiting for them to make up a story about one of Gary Cook's "broken promises" being that we were signing Rooney.

Re: Now this is a report too far surely?

First line-

"Manchester United have been approached with a sensational offer to buy Carlos Tevez back from their neighbours City"

How does that work?

It goes on to say that City are not behind this so how can someone offer something that doesn't belong to them?

Mind games from the swamp if you ask me, executed by a sycophantic sucker of Satans cock.

Just a thought.

The only actual quotes in that article are

'Carlos has been back training with his usual enthusiasm. He will not only return to the side against Everton on Monday, but he is determined to play a part in the team's push for as high a Premier League finish as they can achieve.

'The club have demonstrated where they stand. Carlos is going nowhere. Now all we want is to concentrate on winning as many matches as we can between now and the end of the season.'

Lifted from an earlier, positive City piece.

"He looked at the article, astonished as to it's stupidity...then, glanced down at his hands, suggestively, and back at the article, for that slight pause, before palm, met face."

LOL. That transfer is impossible on many levels, financially, personally, etc.

You missed out 'morally'.
I think it's quite clear that such trivialities don't concern Carlos Tevez that much.

What bothers me about this type of bullshit is firstly that any of our fans believe it and secondly how insulting it is to our owners, as if they for one second would allow any of our players especially Carlos to go there. The whole project is to attract and keep the best players in the world to city, not hand them over once we have secured them.

Nice try journo...... Prick.

Another fuckwit paper trying to derail the revolution. A couple of the players have already said, jo hart the latest yesterday, that all these bullshit stories are all ignored by the players and they know the truth.
I think all this bollocks written is making us a stronger squad, so let's all laugh at the rag tops

This is complete made up bullshit.

But it's worked!

Fans complain about this kind of crappy journalism and then go and publicize it all over the place. More people look at the 'story' and that is pretty much all the editors care about.

This thread has probably earned Bob Cass a nice little bonus.

Didn't you have Robinho going there a few months ago?

he did, but that was on the back of info gained from the cleaning lady, or someone of such importance, who lets be honest is probably more ITK than this journo

Manchester City are ready to turn fantasy football into reality with a series of big-money transfers to follow up their £100 million world record bid for Milan superstar Kaka.
On top of their £250,000- a-week offer to the Brazilian former world footballer of the year, City's Abu Dhabi owners, headed by Sheik Mansour, are hoping to tempt Kaka with the promise that he will be just the first of an incredible roll call of talent who will end up at the City of Manchester Stadium.
That could see City spending vast sums on a hit-list which includes the likes of Barcelona's Lionel Messi, Liverpool's Steven Gerrard and Frank Lampard of Chelsea.

Money men: City benefactor Sheik Mansour (L) with brother Mohammed (centre) and Qatar’s Tamim bin Hamad
Even Manchester United pair Cristiano Ronaldo and Wayne Rooney are targets, an indication of Sheik Mansour's determination to turn his club into the biggest and most successful club in the world.
Such spending would represent a clear challenge to the established record of arch rivals and neighbours United, the European champions and now odds-on favourites to land their third successive Premier League title.
If City do finally persuade Milan to part with a player who is coveted throughout the globe and who, until now, was considered untouchable, they will have shown that every player has his price.

I think his point is that this particular journalist has form when it comes to talking out of his arse.

Saggers on Talkshit just now...
"if it's Bob Cass it'll be bang on the money" .....PMSL

This HAS come from utd, IMO, but like all their machinations has no relationship with truth or honesty.
