We get between 10 - 20 calls a day, all about PPI. The calls are all recorded messages that ask you to press a number to connect to a real person, so swearing at them doesn't work.
If I ever get a real one on the line they will get the mother of all abuse.

I work for one of these bastarding places selling Solar Panels... (times are hard, etc.) but I can assure you, the best way to stop us phoning you is to tell us you're registered with TPS, wether or not you are.

Can that legally be done in the UK or would you get done for impersonating a police officer ? As I might give that a try next time some twat phones me.
British Gas are always pecking my head with phone calls. How many more times do I have to tell them that I'll never have their gas anymore after I was paying for the whole fucking street last time I was with them?!!
I used to get calls everyday on my house phone and mobile at one time to try and get me to come back to them. There was a jobsworth British Gas employee who used to live in my street at the time and I know for a fact he was something to do with the amount of calls I was getting. I told him in the end to get it stopped or I would report them for harrassment. It did stop but they still call me at least once a week.
I have Homecare insurance with them otherwise I'd tell the fuckers to delete my telephone number off their system once and for all.
