But right now he's still on the wage bill.
Potentially we could suspend him without pay - or even terminate him - if he remains on remand - on the basis that he cannot fulfill his contractual obligations... i.e. he can't train or play. Remember - City only have to apply civil law to terminate his contract and could take an expedient view that he cant come to work whilst he is involved in criminal proceedings we are justified in terminating his contract - the criminal proceedings impact his ability to fulfill the contractual arrangement - hence dismissal without any view being formed on the bigger case or issue.
