What is Radio X?

Judging by that list it’s a radio station popular with older men.

But not that old with all the Artic Monkeys and Oasis tracks in there and Starman only at number 97.

Also hardly any tracks be female singers in there.

I mean where’s Jolene ffs?

Neither, it seems, has anyone else. Just looked them up on Metacritic and they don't even appear despite having four albums. The 'reception' section of their latest album shows a grand total of 3 professional reviews. Yet apparently they've written 5 of the best 100 songs ever written in the UK. Seems about as legitimate as a Goal of the Month vote with a scouser in it.

X are very, very big on them. Always promoting them as some kind of music gods.
