Oasis reunion

Millions can and do love shite bands. That is not really the measure, neither are their sales.

I say that as a standalone point btw.
Exactly the point, the fact anyone thinks of an artist or band is "shite" is utterly irrelevant, if they have millions of followers they're not "shite" to them.

As a FOC I'm not struck on the Stones or the Beatles but I'd never call them shite, they had a huge influence on music, I guess Oasis have inspired a whole generation of Musicians. I think they're brilliant but I've always loved proper guitar inspired bands

I grew up with Punk Rock, still have a lot on my play list but I also have Springsteen, Al Green, Paul Heaton (going Monday), Frank Sinatra, a bit of Brass band and loads of Indie. However each to their own, from Rap to Opera who's to say its "shite"

Yeah we mostly agree. Millions liking them doesn't make them not shite. Just as one, two or millions thinking they are shite doesn't make them shite.

It is their being shite, that makes them shite. ;)
