Not particularly obscure, but I had the chance to visit the Cincinnati Union Terminal this weekend, it features as the Justice League’s HQ in the latest Superman film. If you’re into Art Deco, it’s a must see and absolutely spectacular both inside and out.

I thought the flats used for the exterior of Nelson Mandela House were in Bristol, just behind Ashton Gate?

You're right. Think the ones in Acton were used 81-85ish and Bristol thereafter.

I thought this too. Turns out the block in Acton was used in series 1-5 and the one in Bristol from series 6 onwards.

They filmed Death in Venice here.
Sadly it’s boarded up as it awaits renovation as a hotel.

I went to Dubrovnik and they wouldn't stop banging on about Game of Thrones. Half of it was CGI by the time it hit the screens anyway. Here's a set of stairs from some conversation scene. So iconic that they had to have a folder of stills to remind you.

Also Carnforth Station, who've been milking Brief Encounter since 1945.

Angkor Wat being intensely proud that Tomb Raider was shot there, as if it wasn't magnificent enough in its own right.

The temple with the fig tree over the door at Angkor, and the whole of the complexes, are indeed amazing.

Went to the Mos Espa set last week, and also Luke's house (where Aunt Beru was killed).

Visiting Cardiff bay a couple of years ago and the air bnb was situated right in the middle of night filming for venom (not seen it but super hero bollocks I think). They were filming through the night so me n our lass sat at the window and watched them. What a load of absolute bollocks. The scene looked great but the stopping and starting was mental. They changed the street to look like the us in winter.
