The only noteworthy event was mid-way through the second half when my computer inexplicably logged-out of Bluemoon and not only was I unable to log back in, but the Matchday Forum also disappeared. WTF? Thank goodness for the Manchester Evening News telecast coverage.

Just scrambled through the EUFA Europa rule book and confirmed the worry that away goals count as an advantage - ergo; if we score draw at our end either in game play or in additional time (15 minutes each way) then Aris go through on away goal advantage. If it's a 0-0 score after additional time then it's penalties.
Now that the greeks have achieved this advantage it means we'll need to win by a score either in open play or penalties but if Aris score a goal then we'll need to score more than them or go out . . if they go one up in normal play then we need to score 2 or go out before extra time 'cos a score draw is disaster on a monumental scale.
In a nutshell; we'll need to defend like buggery and attack like f#ck - but if we'd sneaked one away then we'd be sitting very pretty and could sit back and sting them on the counter.
Not sure what to think about this as I don't think that the europa cup is as important as the FA Cup and neither are more important than a 4th place finish in the PL. . if we lose out in the 2nd leg of the europa then that'll take some burden off the arse end of our season and we may well see a real benefit in that - especially in a year when we're bedding a squad together and need every possible advantage to do that and get something out of the season as a platform for next year when we'll be a real force. Hmmmmm.

I don't know why are you so disappointed... Aris didn't loose 40 years in Europe... Do you know what that means? Chelsea, Benfica, Atletico Madrid and a lot really good teams didn't beat them.
It's not the players, it's RM... He is good and everything. That guy reached his peak with Inter and maybe he will come close to that, once he again work in Italy because English football is not for him and also European, except Italy.

Hy guys.Sorry about my english...i dont know them so good yet,so be patient about the mistakes.
Im from Greece,an ARIS fan.I took some pictures that maybe you would like to see or have so i will post them here.
Your fans came here and we had no problems.I am a fan of your team...of your palyers and generally of English football.I have watched a game in Fullams stadium 3 years ago.It was the only match i found tickets.
i would like to hear your opinion not for me team (because those i ve read it allready-the difference between us is really huge and its nearly a miracle how we didnt lose AGAIN...We have an unbeaten record of 43 years and 26 matches!!!) but for oyr atmosfaire and our fans.How did you ''lived'' it from tv?
And if any of you came to Saloniki i would like to here a review from him!
