I think Richards has photos. Seems to have a gold pass into the first XI.
On form I'd go Zab, but it's a new season, so heres hoping Richards is more 2007/08 than 2008/09.

Playing Richards is the right decision. Love Zab but have a feeling Micah will come into his own this season. Last year was just the kick up the ass he needed so i expect top performances over the coming weeks and months.

He's picked a team to win then. I agree Richards and Dunne are there to combat Blackburn's height. Saving Tevez as impact sub and de Jong if we need the midfield bolstering later on. Brave, there's no 2 defensive mids and 4-5-1, this is 4-4-2 his prepferred formation. Ade first goal anyone.

I will be honest at the end of last season I would have thought there would be more new faces in that starting XI for the ambitions being as high as they are now. Only 3 new players starting today then 1 for each position Def, Mid, Att. Only 2 I would change would be Zabaletta and Onuoha for Dunne and Richards. But new season, clean start. COME ON CITY!

No need to start slagging Hughes before the season/the game's started! Probably coz Micah is taller and at set pieces Blackburn will be most dangerous.
richards does tend to go on more walkabouts than crocodile dundee though, you can be 10 feet tall but no point if you have shit positional sense
have to trust the manager though and our team is better than theirs by a mile
