Official Brum v City Thread

i think this is the worst performance this season we are making birmingham look quite good.

Too be fair Birmingham haven't conceded many at home this season , and they haven't scored many either , so a tight game was always gonna be on the cards.

But we just haven't created enough chances .... our final ball has never been good enough ...... too many players have simply been 'off key' .... and we could easily be staring at a City defeat if that penalty had of gone in.

It's a point ......... but a very disappointing one.

I though our passing today was dreadful and it is getting so frustrating how many times Bridge fails to get his cross in.

We looked lethargic and didn’t get the rub of the green, a lot of bobble balls falling to Birmingham players but we have Shay Givens to thank for getting something out of today’s game. But for him it would have been more disappointing.

Looking on the bright side we are still in there with a fighting change, slipping into the Top Four, but if I am being honest with myself after today’s showing you might now get better (longer) odds on City winning the league than the Twins winning X-factor!

weplayed 4-4-2 in the 5 games ireland has started winning 4 and losing 1 very late, hughes trying to fit in tevez and selling dunne along with robbie getting injured is when things started going wrong

Up to and including the United game we played 4-3-3.

we didnt we started at blackburn 4-4-2 with robbie as the left winger swp on the right bellamy and ade up front ireland and barry in the middle

pretty poor. think its obvious 442 isnt working for us. back to 433 and some tough decisions for Hughes as to who gets dropped.

Sorry guys but we dont have the quality to finish in the top 4 .This is a game we should have won if are ambitions are to be realized
