I can't see us getting anything today with the midfield Hughes has decided to play to be honest.
That team looks very very lightweight

I'm not sure Hughes made the DECISION to not field De Jong or Kompany.

Id much rather that midifeld than one that includes gelson sideways fernandes. Its the best midfield he can put out there. I do fear for us though. Its not Hughes fault though. in an ideal situation we would have De Jong, Kompany, Johnno and Didi all trying to get in there. This season has been awful for injury. Especially when you look at lucky bastards like Villa.

We've had better balance and results with a DM (Zab)/CM (Ireland)/AM Elano combination than the stupidly defensive De Jong/Kompany/Zabaleta competition. Which see's us under constant pressure.
