David Villa is close to Barcelona. Asturian striker met at the Royal Spa Salinas with Barcelona's sports director, Txiki Begiristain, this Tuesday, according to El Comercio. During the luncheon held by his representative José Luis Tamargo, who arrived before the striker Valencianista to start the conversation with the manager azulgrana, could have reached an agreement in principle for the arrival of the Camp Nou Villa.
"Let's go for all. We will do everything to play for us next season," he reportedly told the front Begiristain
According to the newspaper Asturian, Txiki Begiristain would have conveyed his interest to Villa Tab: "Let's go for all. We will do everything to play for us next season," he reportedly said the striker.
The signing of Karim Benzema, who has advanced MARCA.com serve to strengthen this potential signing for Villa in Barcelona, and to close the doors of the Bernabeu and only be out of the city to leave Valencia without leaving Spain, which is their decision.
Anyway the problem for the realization of the transfer remains to convince Valencia. The Levante preferred offerings coming from England, where it seems that Manchester United could have offered up to 47 million. In the sports Emery's interest to include in the operation Negredo with Real Madrid, but now it seems impossible. Thus the only remaining exit azulgrana, which could either call a number around 42 million or agree to a transaction in which, among Keirrison, which is very close to being hired by Culès.

From Marca.

The gist being that Villa is close to agreeing a move in principle to Barca. I imagine it is on the condition of Eto'o signing for us. It also talks about Keirrison being loaned to Balencia as part of the deal. This is what we expected to happen. Lets hope Eto'o sorts it out at his end as it is clear they do not want him to stay.

Going back to some general chat about this, apart from Eto'o being one of my favorite strikers of course, is that he already sort of has a kind of connection to us - he was watching from the bench the night MVF died.
