Done Pam...

I don't care if it is done. It doesn't matter any more because the rags have Michael Owen and some winger from Wigan and we are doomed, with or without Eto. And just to rub it in, they have at long last managed to off load Ronaldo and he is rubbish. Now they're about to rub it in again because their second most rubbish player would seem to have conned his way into Eastlands.

Now 8/11 on SkyBet, it's looking good.

Can you just imagine if we got Eto'o, Tevez and Terry. Top 4 here we come.

I have been imagining it for ages. Let us bring it on! We might be faves to win the poxy swamp derby scheduled for September. If it is us or even close to being us, that will tell us quite a lot about our top four ambitions.

Re: Samuel Eto'o [merged]

Jesus, i think some people believe that odds actually mean something with regards to the outcome of a transfer saga!

Why don't we all bet every penny we own on Eto'o coming to City? If we did that, we will make it become a done deal.

And did you know that the winker only went to Real Madrid because i bet £5,000,000 on it? He wouldn't have moved if it wasn't for me. My bet changed the odds so much that it made the rags willing to sell him.

Also, you have me to thank for us signing Barry. He was set to join Liverpool, but i really wanted him at City, so i put a huge bet on him coming to us. This made the odds shift massively in our favour and it consequently ruined Liverpool's hopes of getting him. Barry quickly changed his mind and signed for us immediately.

You're right. I don't see how anything can be based on betting odds but there are plenty of other reasons for optimism.

Re: Samuel Eto'o [merged]

El Mundo Deportivo

Futbol Club Barcelona is willing to facilitate what may exit of Samuel Eto'o and we think the yield reached agreement in principle with Manchester City for the transfer of the Cameroonian striker for 27 million fixed at 3 variables and leave the 25'5 'kg' in the first instance in writing and offered the whole UK, with the aim that the City has the greatest economic margin to convince Eto'o. The boat is aware that its future relationship with the striker still team Premier would link the principal money, and therefore seek 'help' as possible to your partner to finish with a convincing Samuel offer superior to which he has made.

Ficha "estratosférica" Tab stratospheric "

Five years to ten million net is the proposal made by the Manchester City striker in his day, but neither is "stratospheric" supply-described as the president of the culé, Joan Laporta, the Cameroonian altered. In principle, the priority for Eto'o if you have to change of scenery is to sign for any team to dispute the Champions next season and the City did not play. If ensuring the highest being in competition, 'Samu' it would accept an offer similar or even lower, but if it comes from a club that trains as Mark Hughes, with a view to lure big sporting environment of the player, then need another kind of motivation, and in this case would be economic.

There is no other bid

The problem, in addition to the signing bonus he wants Eto'o to be receivable free of the contract in June next year, is that apart from the formal offer from Manchester City no other club that has been addressed formally put Barça an amount on the table. Eto'o was much talk during the dinner that kept Joan Laporta and Massimo Moratti, president of Inter Milan, for about a month, and during the visit made shortly after Ernesto Bronzetti, an intermediary who typically work with Milan, a Can Barça, but the thing was there and there has been no formal proposal to the club azulgrana.
All yield

So the situation is not ideal for everyone (the player would have no problems running at a big European club but none of these has made an offer for face and eyes to Barça, Barça, while the club is satisfied with what gives the City but is faced with opposition from the player) the only solution is that both give in some way. Barça would cut its claim in a couple of million euros that would serve to increase the City's proposal to Eto'o, the Cameroonian striker should reconsider its position by the set of chips English. In fact, his representative Josep Maria Mesalles, and said last Tuesday that were not closed to that possibility. The opposite would be to maintain a tension for the next season that would not benefit either the club or the player
