Re: Samuel Eto'o [merged]
Honestly think Milan don't have a prayer this time. I think they are in a bad financial situation and they wouldn't meet Barca's asking price on a player who only has 12 months left on his contract. I also don't think they will go anywhere near his 138k p/w salary. I can't see him taking a pay cut to go there either, not when he can expect upwards of 180k p/w at City.
Might have my blue tinted specs on here but Milan are in trouble imo. Ageing squad without much money to re-invest. Zambrotta, Pirlo, Gattuso. Ambrosini, Seedorf, Maldini, Nesta, Ronaldinho, Inzaghi all need replacing. Personally i'd sacrifice a tournament i've won twice to go to the team who are likely to emulate what Chelsea have done over the last 6 years.
I thought about this, but surely that wouldn't happen to City would it? :psvennis pennis said:Right, can I just add that nobody should ever, rule out Milan and the slippery egg headed little **** Galliani.
Remember Ronaldinho?
If he gets involved its take two of that, and we are about to be dragged from post to pillar.
First off, expect the, we have enquired about Samual Eto'o line.
Then it will be, we have contacted the player and although he wants to play for the rossenerri they cannot match our offer.
After that they will publicly drop out of the running.
Only for the egg headed **** to be pictured back in Barcelona dining with Laporta,
Galliani will again spit roast us in public and then suddenly they will be back at the table.
This is not going to be easy if they get involved so in essence we do need some sort of deadline, Galliani doing his Oliver impression for the 3rd time in a year is getting to much.
What you need to remember is we are not in their boys club, the club that includes, Barca, Milan, Real Madrid.
This is not a flap, but an honest opinion of what could happen if they take an interest.
