That might be a very expensive mistake....saying that at least you'll have saved £50.00 from some other superstar signing :p

I would expect the Eto'o stuff to break out of Spain, certainly by this time tomorrow.

Can you expand on that at all?

I think he means that by tomorrow he is hoping that at least one of the spanish media sources will have started to leak a story regarding Eto'o that is good news for City ?

Could be wrong though best wait for his reply ;o)

I would certainly expect Barca's own mouthpieces to do their bidding...and see it snowball from there.

Can people please stop PMs, just to avoid repetition. I am in no position to elaborate, as yet. Only that a resolution does indeed appear to have been reached.

Seems promising that we have ITK's saying City have had a very good Phone call form Barcelona and then it starts to hit the Telegraph he has decided to leave and has to choose between City, United and AC Milan. It is looking good for us.

And think of it this way, if he wanted success and Champions League football, he would sign the 2-year contract extension.

He is completely money motivated but still has the desire to win and put in 110% and thats good enough for me!
