The reality, and you certainly don't need to be ITK on this one, is that Barca will not reinforce their striker positions with a certain Eto'o on the books and tight budgets.
Laporta's concession that he will do business on a striker is only because of the finance coming from us.
There has been movement enough for me to state that some people at City believe this has moved foward in a very positive manner for us earlier today.
He has agreed to come to us - the only fly in the ointment was Eto'o's dealings with Barca - make of it what you will what Laporta/someone else at Barca has informed us today.
