I was going to start this, but thought it was too early and I'd get a right slating. So thanks Aussie!

Can't wait for it. I'm hoping we'll start with Ade and Balo up front and really go for it. However, I know it won't happen because we couldn't then play Silva and Tevez, and good Lord what about AJ! We haven't half got some good attacking options.

We've enough holding midfielders to hopefully nullify Stevie G (only put his name like that to wind people up (from the nicknames thread))!

Defensively, if Kolarov and Boateng are fit, then even better. If Boateng is still out, then I'm sure Micah can't have a worse game than he did against Spurs. Also, to be fair to Micah, we were absolutely overrun in that 1st half, so he wasn't the only player not performing - but with Bale against you, you need to be at your best.

Again - can't wait!

Anyone think Mancini might tinker with the formation? There was a distinct lack of creativity from the midfield vs. Spuds, surely we should go with "only" 2 holding mids at home?

You don't think he'll give Balotelli a run out yet? I like the line up, but can't make my mind up between Ade or Super Mario starting. I want to see Balotelli start, because I'm excited about him being here, but still like Ade. Will be interesting to see if Ade is happy to be a sub. Additionally, a lot of Bluemooners think Ade is a lazy bastart!!

Nope realistic. At home we will be a force to be reckoned with.
League home debut for Silva, Yaya and others = good showing and 3 points.
