I'm just waiting to see if two of the more regular "Hughes Out" brigade show their faces today. I haven't seen them yet. Oh shit, I forgot. we won. We DID win, didn't we? It's so hard to tell going by some of the posts on here.

You for or against this week ??
Sorry?

thats okay... no need to apologise... accepted anyway.

Whats the big deal with the Sturridge celebration.? People are making way too much of it.

His performance was so poor that he almost felt embarrassed to be gifted the goal - hence the lack of celebration. That's all it was.

Yup, that's how I saw it too...

He had a very poor game. Looked frustrated and lacking in confidence.

Don't be such a wanker all the time Scorer. I have never made any secret of the fact that I think we should hold on to our manager (whoever he is) for at least 2 seasons to allow him and the club to stabilise. Your comment implied that I changed my mind on this matter week on week. Anyone who has watched my posts knows that that is patently not the case. I have also stressed the need to support the club, manager and team. It's a novel concept I know, but some on here should try it. They might actually get to like it.. I await your apology (better get my calendar down off the wall).

i was just about for hughes staying until the hamburg away and fulham home games, when i shamelessly decided that one the balance of the available evidence, the stability vs lack-of-ability argument had swung against him.

Elano was awesome
Dunne needs to be replaced
Hughes still unconvincing in his decisions
Some dickheads on here

But we won so i'm going to the pub happy as fuck:)

So we played badly. So a few players don't look premiership quality. So the manager has made a few dodgy decisions this season. So Elano looked our best player and the manager seems to hate him.

We won didn't we?

That's more than we did this time last season...

We may have won, credit to them for that, but we were lucky. Had we not got the pen I could've seen a repeat of last week.

My prediction was a 3-2 win so the result was better than expected. Hats off to the baggies who are going down in style. Who was that young Dutch player from WBA having a friendly chat with De Jong at the end? He looked worth a closer look. In defence I would much prefer to see Kompany and Onuoha. Dunne is no longer our first choice central defender IMHO.

Yep. The foundations for future success are really being hammered into place :)
