Consider that when we take out our three main players we are replacing them with guys who are several levels below the ones we take out. Really on our squad there is no one who even compares to Ireland, Robinho, and SWP on an offensive front that is on our bench (Sturridge will be in the future of course). Compare that to other squads who can replace class with class from their bench or even other squads around our level in the table who have similar level players on the bench as they do in their starting 11 and it's easy to see how our squad could have a bit more difficulty than others when it comes to resting our big players.
 
Reminds me so much of Ball's management. Players having no idea what they were supposed to be doing.
 
there are always upsets , but why us.. and not borough? Fk MH . rest our best 2 performers of the season for the biggest trophy we can win domestically and doesn't even give jo a shot at these coca-cola cannon fodder. where is the impact he was talking for the new year?? or does he not want the job?
