Official Liverpool Vs. manchester city thread.

I'm worried about this one, I can really see us getting stuffed here, especially considering our piss poor defending and away form.

Oh well, hopefully it will help the dippers beat the rags for the title.

We have a poor record away from home, a poor record against the dippers, we aren't playing particularly well.

So that'll be 2-0 City.

The line up should be
Given
Zab Neds Dunne Bridge

Ireland Kompany Dejong Garrido

Elano/Robino

Bellamy

I can live with this and in fact I would play Elano, offers more in defensive duties than Robinho and gives him the chance to operate behind the striker.

Given

Richards
Bridge
Onouha
Dunne

DeJong
Kompany
Zabaletta

Ireland
Bellamy
Robinho

With a solid midfield this should allow Robbie to cheat and hurt Liverpool when we have the ball, letting Ireland to drop into midfield too. with this side I reckon we can get a result.

Hello people.

I'm from a Liverpool forum and would be interested in seeing what views you guys have got on the game.

I've come in peace (we all despise United, so let's try to get along!).

So, just a few questions:

1 - How do you feel your season is going?
2 - Is Mark Hughes the right man to take you forward?
3 - Does the money you have mean you can realistically start challenging for the top honours?
4 - Where do you think City and Liverpool will finish in the league this season?
5 - Which Liverpool player are you most concerned about?
6 - Which of your team should we be looking out for?
7 - What do you think the score will be on Sunday?
8 - Was the bid for Kaka the right thing to do?

I like this. A 0-0 would be fantastic.

we'll go 3 up within 30 minutes.. torres red carded and gerard limps of at the end of the first half. it will be smooth sailing until the 75th minute, when dunney scores the first of 2 own goals then a riera cross finds kuyt with 3 stoppage time minutes still to play. jamie carragher then surges from half way and lets rip with a wonder goal from 35 yards in the final 30 seconds.

hughes sacked on tuesday, with ginger megson the replacement
